Legal Department Manager

Burcu Kaynarkaya is a dedicated legal counsel with a strong background in litigation and employment law. She earned her LL.B. from Marmara University Faculty of Law in June 2018 and has since developed practical experience across private practice and in-house legal roles. From September 2019 to June 2021 she served as an attorney at Arslan Law Firm, 2021-2024 Feb. A1 Capital Menkul Değer A.Ş, where she prepared correspondence and a wide range of legal documents, represented clients in and out of court, and attended hearings. Her litigation work focused on employment law, including disputes over compensation, working time and contractual rights. She drafted and reviewed service agreements for facility management clients (catering, private security, cleaning, disinfection, etc.), prepared weekly litigation reports for clients, participated in compliance investigation meetings, and advised on collective bargaining negotiations and union relations. Earlier, from June 2018 to August 2019, she worked as a legal trainee in the Litigation Department of Garanti Bank (BBVA Group). In that role she explained legal positions and provided practical advice, prepared for and attended court hearings, analyzed legal documents, and revised contracts to protect company interests. She also researched and presented the company’s legal position, reviewed human resources policies, handled disputes related to employment and business contracts, and attended legal training sessions. She also has exposure to capital markets and financial literacy from a short-term program at the Prime Ministry Capital Market Board (Jan.–Feb. 2018). Burcu combines courtroom experience, contract drafting and compliance work with practical knowledge of employment law and corporate risk management. She is client-focused, thorough in legal research and documentation, and experienced in managing both individual disputes and broader labor relations matters.
